Our PALS framework has been specifically developed by our Directors for primary aged children with developmental disabilities or difficulties forming and/or maintaining friendships. With over 20 years’ experience supporting students with social and emotional difficulties, our Directors have real life experience supporting students in schools and understand the challenges faced by students each and every day.
At LAB Learning Clinic we understand that transference of skills learned in isolation is extremely difficult. With this in mind we developed PALS which incorporates a number of evidence based programs with real life experiences within the school playground. The specific program recommended depends on individual student need and identified interpersonal skills goal. Some programs utilitsed include:
The Zones of Regulation
What’s the Buzz
The Westmead Feelings program
Following an initial assessment Private and NDIS sessions are available by negotiation with your child’s school.
